| I must say the weather was very good on the day despite the forecasters predicting all week that it was going to rain all day but it held off for us. The course was 2x18 Big Game laid by Martin Walker, an old hand at laying courses, even though he shoots longbow his courses are not easy (this shows in the scores). The members again worked hard on the day and special thanks must go to the catering ladies, Josephine Bye and her helpers, who kept us all fed throughout the day, despite the one little hiccup of the gentleman (he knows who he is!) arriving a little late with the gas and water, making the tea and bacon butties a little late. Other than that it all went very smoothly. By the remarks at the end of the day you all enjoyed the shoot and we hope to see you all on August 20th for our Crystal Shoot. | |||||||||
