Jan 22 – Broadland Bowmen
Report produced by David Arnold
We had another good turn out with some travelling a long way. Hopefully everyone enjoyed it and will come back for the spring shoot. The weather was very good to us, staying dry all day with a little chill in the air, just right for shooting. A 2 x 16 course was set out and with 2 arrows scoring 20 for a kill and 15 for a wound the max possible score was 1280.  The double pegging made it a quick day, enabling most people who came the chance to get home in the daylight.   Despite the very testing course, laid out by James Carrigan, there were no complaints so I think everyone enjoyed the challenge.  Now for the thanks to the people in the back ground without whom nothing would happen; so thanks to Paul for doing the catering on his own, a fantastic effort, to Steve Trimmer, Wesley Eastman and Steve Bould who helped James with the course and to David Allan for doing all the electrics so we had light.
