Welcome to the Broadland Bowmen website, we are a Field Archery club based in Norwich. We hope this will be of some help to anyone interested in Field Archery in East Anglia. The main priority at the club is to ensure a SAFE and FUN environment for all. We achieve this by teaching and shooting under NFAS+EFAA rules, and if you have never shot before we can offer one to one tuition.

We have 3 open shoots a year, Spring, Autumn and Christmas, these are unmarked distances shot over uneven terrain and sometimes around obstacles. Extremely good fun although arrow loss is a little higher than when shooting marked distances through clear lanes over even terrain. We also hold a marked classification shoot on the 9 months that we don't shoot 'unmarked'.

If you combine our shoot calendar with those of our neighbouring clubs Whitefriar Bowmen of Dunwich, Kings Forest of Thetford and Worlingham Field Archers of Worlingham you have a packed diary as we all ensure that our events don't fall on the same date. If this is not enough there are at least another half a dozen clubs within an hours drive.
